Photo Editor & Retoucher (d/f/m)

Founded in Berlin by Jacqueline Mikuta and Klemens Weiss, MIKUTA began in 2017 with a jewelry line and expanded into women's ready-to-wear in 2019. Today, MIKUTA is an independent fashion brand known for effortless design, premium feel, and a distinct point of view.

Our Team is spread across Europe, with a Studio Office in Berlin and a production Office in northern Portugal.

We’re expanding rapidly, and to support our Content Team, we’re looking for a Photo Editor & Retoucher (d/f/m) who can take ownership of executing and further developing our retouching process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the retouching and color grading of all MIKUTA visuals in close collaboration with our founders and Creative Directors

• Ensuring all product images are edited true to color, with consistency across campaigns and collections.

• Maintaining our brand’s visual identity through precise post-production work.

• Preparing final image assets for online shop, social media, and marketing materials.

• Collaborating with the creative team (photographers, designers, art direction) to ensure the best visual outcome.

• Continuously improving and streamlining post-production workflows.

• Managing and organising image files for efficient workflow and easy access.

ABOUT YOU

• You have proven experience in retouching and color grading,

• You have experience working in fashion, lifestyle or e-commerce.

• You’re highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (Capture One or similar tools are a plus).

• You have a sharp eye for detail, color accuracy, and aesthetics — balancing creativity with precision.

• You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment where flexibility and hands-on mentality are key.

• You enjoy collaborating with a creative team but can also take ownership and work independently.

• You’re passionate about fashion, visuals, and bringing brand stories to life through imagery.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
