We seek an experienced Store Manager to lead a dynamic team in creating a unique, customer-focused retail environment in our new flagship store in Berlin.

The MIKUTA brand was founded in Berlin by Jacqueline Mikuta and Klemens White, starting in 2017 with a small jewellery line, which later expanded to clothing in 2019. MIKUTA is a young, wild & free-inspired fashion brand for modern women with a glimpse of rock’n’roll. MIKUTA is currently one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer brands in the fashion market.

Our Team is spread across Europe, with a Studio Office in Berlin and a production Office in northern Portugal. We are currently working with Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter Collection cycles and soon grow to a product portfolio of more than 150 products.

We are now launching our very first Flagship store in Berlin, which will enable us to be closer to our customer base. It is important for us that our community can experience the brand in person before making their purchase decision. This Retail store will be the leading example for future Stores to come.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager who brings additional knowledge & perspective to the current Team. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the team, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with the Retail and Marketing team making MIKUTA more accessible by creating a unique and interactive Store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help to develop the Store Concept (Design, Customer Flow, Vibe, Events)

  • Build a Team that embodies the store culture

  • Philosophy, Culture, Team Dynamic

  • Ensure the highest level of customer service, creating a welcoming and engaging environment for shoppers.

  • Lead, inspire, and manage a dynamic, positive store team.

  • Oversee inventory management and ensure product availability.

  • Optimise the store’s commercial performance by identifying business opportunities/initiatives to improve sales, minimise losses, and promote new products in line with overall company objectives.

  • Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and organisation to reflect the brand’s image.

  • Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible Retail experience, with a minimum of 2 years of management experience

  • Extensive experience and ability to lead the delivery of a high level of customer service

  • You are strong in building and maintaining relationships, and you also like to work with different departments, you think ahead and bring structure

  • Communicate honestly, openly, and constructively

  • Contribute to an inclusive culture of diverse styles and talents working toward a clear purpose

  • You love working with international clients

  • You possess a keen interest in fashion and have a strong sense of current trends.

  • It is important that you speak English fluently

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree required

  • Result-oriented with good command of figures and strong attention to performance indicators
