Founded in Berlin by Jacqueline Mikuta and Klemens Weiss, MIKUTA began in 2017 with a jewelry line and expanded into women's ready-to-wear in 2019. Today, MIKUTA is an independent fashion brand known for effortless design, premium feel, and a distinct point of view.

ABOUT THE JOB

To elevate our brand presence, we’re looking for a creative and driven Photographer (d/f/m). This role will play a key part in executing both outdoor and indoor shoots while maintaining MIKUTA’s visual identity across different channels:

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality visual content for our website, social media, paid ads with a primary focus on outdoor/editorial shoots as well as selected studio productions

• Create strong visual storytelling across lifestyle, fashion, accessories, and product-focused content in line with the MIKUTA aesthetic

• Work closely with our founders to bring brand concepts and campaigns to life

• Maintain and further develop MIKUTA’s unique visual identity, including color grading, composition, and editing style

• Build and manage lighting setups for both natural-light outdoor environments and occasionally controlled studio productions

• Operate confidently in fast-paced outdoor shooting environments, including travel shoots and on-location productions

• Work with Adobe Creative Suite to manage tethered shooting, retouching, editing and post-production workflows

• Ensure efficient file management, editing and delivery processes across all productions

• Stay up to date with photography trends, tools, and techniques to keep our visual communication fresh and impactful

• Capture behind-the-scenes moments and production processes during factory and campaign shoots in Portugal

ABOUT YOU

• 5–10 years of professional experience as a photographer, with a strong focus on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle

• Solid background in studio and on-location photography, including lighting setup and direction

• Confident working with Lightroom and Photoshop

• Skilled in developing and maintaining a consistent visual look and editing style

• Experience creating content for social media, ads, and e-commerce

• Strong sense for aesthetics, composition, and fashion trends

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Flexible and open to frequent travel, on-location shoots and weekend productions

• Ideally based in Mallorca or Berlin and willing to relocate to Mallorca over time

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
