Founded in Berlin by Jacqueline Mikuta and Klemens Weiss, MIKUTA began in 2017 with a jewelry line and expanded into women's ready-to-wear in 2019. Today, MIKUTA is an independent fashion brand known for effortless design, premium feel, and a distinct point of view.

Our Team is spread across Europe, with a Studio Office in Berlin and a production Office in northern Portugal.


ABOUT THE JOB

We’re expanding rapidly, and to support our Retail team, we’re looking for a Flagship Store Manager – Amsterdam (d/f/m) who can transform our flagship into a destination that inspires, engages, and delights every guest. You’ll blend strategic leadership with hands-on energy, ensuring the store is both a reflection of the MIKUTA aesthetic and a driver of exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the Amsterdam flagship team to deliver exceptional service, exceed customer expectations and consistently drive store performance

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day operations — from flawless visual merchandising and precise inventory control to effective scheduling and resource allocation

  • Build a welcoming, service-first atmosphere that embodies the MIKUTA brand and fosters lasting customer relationships

  • Host and manage in-store events, product launches and brand activations that strengthen our community and generate excitement

  • Partner closely with HQ in Berlin on stock planning, store performance reviews and retail strategy alignment

  • Analyse and report on sales KPIs, customer insights and local market trends to inform decision-making and uncover new opportunities

  • Ensure the store is always guest-ready — impeccably clean, perfectly stocked, beautifully styled and brimming with energy

ABOUT YOU

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

  • 3–5 years of experience in fashion retail management or a related field, ideally within premium or affordable luxury brands

  • You know how to drive sales and hit KPIs by leading with energy and being hands-on in the store

  • Skilled at building and growing teams — you’re confident hiring, training, and inspiring your crew to bring their best

  • Comfortable running daily store operations, from stock and visual merchandising to delivering exceptional customer service

  • Excited to create memorable experiences by hosting in-store events and brand activations that connect with the community

  • Familiar with POS and inventory systems — experience with Shopify POS is a plus

  • Organized and detail-focused, you’re confident managing sales targets, reporting and operational planning

  • Passionate about delivering service that leaves a lasting impact and building authentic relationships with customers

  • Ideally, you bring experience thriving in fast-paced, founder-led or start-up retail environments

  • Hands-on involvement in opening new stores and managing launch operations is highly valued

  • Willingness to travel occasionally
