ABOUT THE JOB
We’re expanding rapidly, and to support our Retail team, we’re looking for a Assistant Manager – Flagship Store Amsterdam (d/f/m) who will help create a store experience that inspires, engages, and delights every guest. You’ll bring passion, attention to detail, and a strong sense of style to ensure the store reflects the MIKUTA aesthetic and delivers an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding customer service — welcome every guest with warmth, offer styling advice, and ensure each visitor feels inspired and valued.
Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, restocking, maintaining floor presentation, and ensuring smooth store flow.
Maintain the MIKUTA aesthetic through precise visual merchandising, ensuring all displays are beautifully styled and aligned with brand guidelines.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, organizing stock, and monitoring product levels to ensure the store is always guest-ready.
Support in-store events, product launches, and community activations, ensuring seamless execution and an engaging atmosphere.
Collaborate with the Store Manager and HQ teams to share customer feedback, product insights, and opportunities to elevate the in-store experience.
Contribute to achieving sales goals by actively engaging with customers, sharing product knowledge, and promoting current collections.
Support hiring and recruiting efforts, including assisting with candidate sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
Ensure the store environment is immaculate, well-stocked, and full of positive energy that reflects the MIKUTA spirit.
ABOUT YOU
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
2–4 years of experience in fashion retail or a related field, ideally within premium or affordable luxury brands and/or experience in an Assistant Manager role.
Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and helping drive sales by supporting the team on the shop floor.
Enthusiastic about building strong team dynamics: able to assist with training, onboarding, and motivating colleagues.
Comfortable supporting daily store operations, from stock and visual merchandising to maintaining a welcoming environment.
Organized and detail-focused, confident assisting with reporting, sales tracking, and operational tasks.
Passionate about creating lasting impressions with customers and building authentic relationships.
Enjoys working in fast-paced, founder-led, or start-up retail environments.
Hands-on involvement in store openings or launch operations is a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
